![]() There's a copy to OneNote feature which is helpful. But I'm guessing that with three systems you'd have to do that anyway. I have several different notebooks and it's pretty easy to switch between, though I'd have multiple instances open if Windows 11 didn't make my taskbar fairly useless.Īll of this means you have to cooy paste or type the info of course. It's essentially just a text document, with OneNote's limited formatting, but I like that I can have sections for different topics, pages within that section, and then subsections if needed. You can put as much detail as you want and can reorder. I use OneNote to make lists of other things. They're hidden rather than opening up like a table of contents, which would be my preference. ![]() I also don't like the way it shows steps within one list item. It's not too bad but it's hard to get enough detail in the list items in a readable way. I've been trying Microsoft's To Do app as a list. And also if you need it to link to a calendar. It may depend on how many you need on the list and how detailed you want it to be.
